For most of the day, I'll be shooting photojournalistically. Your friendly, artsy fly on the wall. The candids matter most-- you and your loved ones on your day. Every so often, we'll want to compose something a little more intentional, and for that, I'll step in with some gentle *natural* posing guidance. Just a little "put that left hand in your pocket," or "hold your flowers a little lower... now glance over your shoulder." I want to capture YOU as a couple-- not some idea of what a married couple *shoulD* look like-- while also capturing your flattering side. That goes for the environment, too: I'll choose the most aesthetic setting for the first look to take place, for example, but then I'll let the moment naturally happen as I shoot it at a distance. I will NEVER interrupt a special, organic moment in order to make you reshoot it in "better light."
